Wayne Hanley
Evangelism coordinator
Wayne Hanley is from New Zealand. He is a former black belt in Karate and has practiced other martial arts for 13 years, including Zen meditation. He met the Lord Jesus about 43 years ago, holds a Diploma in Biblical study from BCNZ, and a Bachelor’s in Theology from Otago University. He is from a Presbyterian Church background and has served as an elder and on the board of managers for several years. He has a heart for evangelism and has been involved in the Boys Brigade for over twenty years, both at East Taieri Presbyterian, and currently is a leader and chaplain in the 1st Mosgiel BB company. Has formally been involved with Youth for Christ in Teararoa, helping troubled youth. He was one of a few foundation members of Taieri FGB Men’s Fellowship and has been its past president. Currently is involved in the Dunedin Gideon’s camp.
Rev. Dutch Gunther
Rev. Gunther, with over 30 years of ordained ministry, brings a wealth of experience in pastoring various churches. Although officially retired, his passion for missions still burns brightly. Currently based in New Zealand, Rev. Gunther actively ministers and leads teams of Christian ministers and lay individuals to the Philippines.
His ministry focuses on preaching in crusades, schools, and church meetings, where the impact has been profound. With a heart for souls, Rev. Gunther has witnessed over 3800 first-time decisions for Christ. Additionally, God’s hand is evident through the manifestation of numerous miracles during these missions.

Cindy Kerr
Events coordinator
Cindy Kerr is from Māori and European decent. She comes from the Far North of New Zealand and was raised in Auckland as well as the rural areas of Kaitaia and surrounding places. Her passion has been the word of God since she gave her life to Christ in 1999. The incredible journey has led her to the road of personal growth and in particular healing. Healed from a destructive lifestyle to freedom in Christ.
Cindy has developed skills in areas such as youth evangelism , pastoral care and praise and worship. She has completed Diploma in Chaplaincy Christian studies with strands in Chaplaincy, Christian Leadership and Intercultural, Performing Arts, Te Minita Taha Maori, and Theology Studies (Level 5). She has a large church family and enjoy the blessings that come from this blessed ministry. She also works with children who have special needs in a high school.
Veronica Jackman
Praise and Worship, Co-ordinator
Veronica Jackman is from New Zealand. She has accepted Christ for about 37 years now. She enjoys playing the guitar and singing during Sunday worship services. She has led the praise and worship team in gospel events with powerful Christian songs in the past year. Apart from that, she shares the good news in her community in Port Chalmers. She may consider further developing her musical skills or exploring different styles and genres to bring variety to the worship experience.
